Something not working?
Try the fixes below first. If none of them help, email and describe what you did and what happened.
Common fixes
Expenses are not syncing to my other device
Check that iCloud is signed in and iCloud Drive is on for Tasca in iOS Settings, on both devices. Sync runs through your own iCloud account, so both devices need to be signed in to the same one. Open the app on each device once to let it pull.
An exchange rate looks wrong or stale
Rates come from the European Central Bank and are cached on device. Pull to refresh on the dashboard while you have a connection. If you need a specific rate, set it by hand on the expense and Tasca will keep using yours.
The widget says no active trip
Open a trip in the app at least once so it can write the shared snapshot the widget reads. Then long press the widget and choose Edit Widget.
A day's total does not match what I expected
Check whether any expense on that day is excluded from the daily allowance, marked as a refund, or split across several days. All three change what lands on a given day. Filters in History will show you the entries behind any total.
An import did nothing
Tasca imports its own JSON export format. A CSV from another app will not import. The preview screen shows what will be created before you apply it, so if it looks empty the file is not a Tasca backup.
Reporting a bug well
The three things that make a report actionable: what you tapped, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot beats a description. Your iOS version and iPhone model help, and the in-app suggestion sheet can attach those for you.
Tasca requires iOS 18.6 or later. If you are on something older, that is usually the cause.
